Downing Design provides an extensive web site design service. This starts with an audit of a clients needs. From here a site plan is developed. At this time a web hosting service is set up if it is not already done. Downing Design does not host web sites we only design and construct them. This enables you to keep a degree of independence and control of your web site.

When the site plan is approved then the site design starts this involves writing text, gathering pictures and designing the navigation and overall look and feel. When this is complete and approved the site construction can start. Most of this work is handled in-house but occasionally some expertise is required from outside the team. Downing Design has a network of suppliers for these more complicated tasks.

When the site construction is complete then it is put on a trial site for your approval and comment. Once this is complete then advertising of the site can begin. There is also ongoing maintenance and marketing that will need to happen on a regular basis.
